MEET THE OWNER
Hi, I’m Johnna Weatherbee – proud owner of Sudsy Springs Car Wash. For over five decades, I’ve served the Lubbock community through LISD as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, assistant principal, principal, and more. Today, I still work part time in LISD’s Federal Programs Department and stay active in my church and community.
Sudsy Springs was originally the dream of my late husband, Homer Weatherbee. After his passing in 2015, I made it my mission to honor his legacy by bringing his vision to life. It brings me so much joy to see Sudsy Springs grow and become a place where our customers feel valued and appreciated.
My favorite part of running this business is the people — our loyal customers and the incredible Sudsy Team who go above and beyond to ensure every visit is a great experience. We’re always looking for ways to better serve you, like our newest addition: the Kooler Ice Machine! We’re proud to offer premium-quality ice and water at a price that’s hard to beat.
When I’m not at the car wash or working with LISD, you can find me volunteering with Exodus Ministries at Highland Baptist Church, where I’ve been a member since 1984. I love spending time with my two grown children and my greatest joy — being "BeeBee" to my two sweet grandchildren.
